The Honorable Distillery is proud to announce our limited edition Cinema Series.
The Cinema Series highlights three notable films that played at the Nordic Theater (1936-1994) in Downtown Marquette. These three spirits will be sold in a set and will only be available for in store pickup.
Each bottle is hand numbered 1 through 1000.
RED SALUTE VODKA
United Artist's "Red Salute" was the very first film played at the Nordic Theater, premiering on April 12, 1936. The movie starred the legendary Barbara Stanwyck and Robert Young. This Vodka is distilled from grain.
ANATOMY OF A MURDER GIN
One of the greatest films of all time, "Anatomy of a Murder" was based on the book by John D. Voelker and was shot in several locations in the Upper Peninsula (Big Bay, Marquette, Ishpeming, and Michigamme). "Anatomy of a Murder" had its world premiere at the Nordic Theater on June 29, 1959. This Gin is distilled from grain and infused with juniper and local botanicals.
BLACK BEAUTY RYE WHISKEY
Warner Bros.' "Black Beauty" was the final film played at the Nordic Theater, with its last showtime on August 11, 1994. This Rye Whiskey contains Butter Pecan & Michigan Maple Syrup
